housing

“No one who has served our country should ever go without a safe, stable place to call home.”
-US Department of Veterans Affairs

Vets Bridges to Hope provides safe and secure emergency and transitional short-term and long-term housing to homeless veterans. Our comprehensive housing program provides shelter and basic needs. We provide for participants physical needs so they can focus on finding solutions to transition back to a healthy independence.

counseling

Vets Bridges to Hope partners with a team of counselors and healthcare professionals to provide access to ongoing counseling and support to address many of the issues that homeless veterans struggle with, such as post traumatic stress and anxiety disorders, substance abuse issues, and coping with physical injuries and mental disorders. We recognize that addressing these issues head on is key to empowering our veterans to return to an independent life.

transitional services

Vets Bridges to Hope ultimate goal for all of our participants is for them to transition from our housing program back into their communities as productive, independent individuals. With that goal, we offer ongoing life skill training and support such as job readiness training, computer classes, budgeting and money management, and healthy lifestyle choices. We work with each participant to create an individual plan of action that will lead to his individual success.
